5. Itoje
6. Armand
7. Simmonds
8. Vunipola
9. Youngs
10. Faz

18. Williams
19. Isikeiwe
20. Curry/Underhill
21. Robson/Care
22. Ford
23. Solomona

I think this would be our strongest 23 from what I believe is available.

In terms of a development 23 I would like to see...

1. Genge
2. Cowan - D
3. Williams
4. Ewels
5. Isikeiwe
6. Robshaw (experience is needed still) possibly Wilson
7. Curry
8. Mercer
9. Robson
10. Smith
11. May
12. Farrel
13. Tuilagi/Teo
14. Solomona
15. Daly
16. Dunn
17. Hepburn
18. Sincler
19. Launch
20. Wilson
21. Youngs
22. Joseph
23. Nowell

I think these players as well as some experienced regulars, who lets be honest are unlikely to be dropped my Jones, eg. Hartley, Haskell (played well against Ire), Cole, Marler should go to SA and hopefully Eng will get back on track...

Opinions??

To be honest, as long as South Africa stick to furthering their racis t quota policy of trying to get a 50% black team by the world cup then England won't have much to worry about whatever team they take.

I don't think England should worry too much about the summer tour. a lot of our Lions players need a break IMO. especially the likes of Itoje. I would like to see the tour used for development purposes with maybe a handful of experienced players, I.e Robshaw, Brown, Hartley. I would rest Owen Farrell as well.

I agree. Although I do think for at least one of the tests they should put out a full strength side, where possible. But I would like to see new combinations used. Would love to see Farrell, Tuilagi, Slade midfield. Would also love to see how Marcus Smith plays with another ball playing centre, as he doesn't get that as much at quins.

Backrow balance is also the issue, we have so many good backrowers but sometimes its not about the best players, its about the best balance.

Spot on DKF - and those in charge will need to look carefully at Euro games. It will be  a big ask for Sarries to progress but if they do playing a final in mid May should be followed by a rest!

Also I would suggest that Smith not quite as good as some would have us believe?

Disagree on Smith, going forward he is very good as he attacks the line and challenges defences, on the backfoot however I would side with you more, either way there is still massive potential
