Then the southern clubs come watching and cherry pick the best and off they go from the northern clubs!

Don't understand the selection of the players from the north. On Saturday the 2 best team in the championship are playing at Twickenham and only 2 players have been picked to play for England. It shows the selection is not working

FFS, again the RFU don't include the club they play for, no one cares what division they are from!!
Rucks and mauls may bust my balls, but whips and chains excite me!!

Are you a Scottish Lions fan by any chance?

What is the rationale behind your conclusion?

Do you think that two teams comprised of the third and fourth best players in their positions could make the final?

Best I can do on info provided.

b.o.g - not sure what your trying to get at, if the players are in the North Squad then they are facing a minimum of 3 players from the other Divisions in their position. If the National side feel one of those 3 players is better then it doesn't really matter if your in a Final or not......

Surname Forename Club Level
Ashcroft Nick Fylde Nat 1
Bailey Samual
Bendin Matt Hertford
Brownhill Seb Bishop Stortford Nat 2S
Burgess Ollie
Carleton Tom  Fylde Nat 1

Choudhary Rahat Uni of Nottingham Bucs
Dennis William Harrogate Nat 2N

Fogerty Rob
Garside Karl Old Albanian Nat 1

Honey Fraser Launceston Nat 3S
Hudson Sam  Otley Nat 2N

3 from Fylde -  Anyone know the U20s coach?  Wink Got to feel sorry for the likes of James Cooney from Blaydon. 27 Nat 1 appearances this season.

Yes, Head Coach Richie Williams ex-Amersham & Chiltern I think and his Assistant Paul Arnold Preston Grasshoppeers (ex-Fylde), think your doing the England Selectors a disservice which includes the four Divisional Chairs of Selectors.

I'm sure young Mr. Cooney is a fine player, I'm also sure that the 70 or so players also not included in the Counties Squad where worth a place in it.

The coaches do not select the squad, they only have an input if the selectors can't make their mind up between 2 or more players

I don't think anybody can find rationale to the selection. It's just extremely unusual for Durham contesting
saturdays final not to have a single player in the England side.
Let's see how many of the Senior County finalists make the International side.

We'll that explains everything then the coaches who actually know who the best players are don't get a say
It's the England Selectors and the four Divisional Chairs of Selectors who pick the team.
Say no more
