With no crowds allowed (certainly for the first few rounds) why are all games not 2pm kick offs on Saturdays.?- there isn't even any tv coverage to my knowledge |

I did wonder why anyone would incur the extra cost of floodlights without any crowds?
TV coverage would be good - hopefully it will be to the benefit of the Championship sides not the RFU? |

I understand that this is the reason that there isn't a general TV deal - the sides want to keep their own revenue. Apparently there wasn't a good revenue split with the Premier Sports offer.

The RFU previously justified keeping the TV money because they paid each Championship club £500k - as this is no longer the case the Championship Clubs should negotiate directly with potential broadcasters. With Saracens in the league they have a strong hand - just hope they show at least 2 games each round or we will get Saracens every week. |
