Absolutely cracking result for Mond bottom place looks like it will go down to the wire. I hope Ealing dont give up and chase Irish to the last. Great league this. Looks like a muddy day in Penzance but still hopeful of a good match. Howay Jersey
Dont kick it. Pick it up and GO FORWARD.

I wonder how Yorkshire will do now. The RP article today paints a dire picture. Today’s match will give some indication.
As for Ealing, they did play their heart out but it was Rorkes Drift for Mond. The line out stats show that Mond had the upper hand there. It was poor line outs that were responsible for several previous defeats. The Ealing scrum needs the likes of Trenier.

It's a bit harsh, but but they have asked for it.There is the letter and spirit of the game, and they've showed the spirit means little to them. They should expect brickbats.

Indeed but Division One doesn't want them back!

Admit we owe something to our sole dual registered player, but we Ihad him in Nat 1.
I think Hartpury’s methods deserve to fail. Who knows what’ll happen, but it’s all to play for.

Well played by Richmond. I think the DR player you mention must be the diminutive fly half who had an outstanding game. He bought real `fizz` to the backs. The Richmond defence was outstanding and held firm against a barrage of heavy runners.

Taking nothing away from Richmond I sensed a lack of commitment from some of the Ealing Trailfinders players and several players under performing from their best.

I feel that any chance of competing against the London Irish is now vanished but was obviously lost when we failed to play to our capability away to first Nottingham and then Bedford.

Well done Richmond Clap

Carnegie 14-7 up approaching half time.
That's easy for you to say.

Pirates matched Jersey physically but it was two missed penalties that made the difference. The defence on both sides was immense, neither side looked like scoring in the second half because nobody could make any yardage, so it was just 40 minutes of kick tennis.

Carnegie now 19-12 up, about 8 minutes left.
That's easy for you to say.

Next the Ealing contingent will be telling us that they are still in the hunt, but if only we had won yesterday. Odds on Irish to make the instant return, irrespective of the massive investment that has been ploughed into the Ealing team.

I have heard that there is a considerable `investment`for next season . The Scots need to prise open their Sporrans and dig deep into them to stay competitive in the Championship. LOL

I think the repeated actions to achieve something without changing the end result is madness. Yes I’am sure that Ealing will continue to spend excessive sums to receive the same outcome over the coming seasons . 🤪

As for LS we don’t have the same level of madness that Ealing appear to have.

Had the dubious pleasure of being at Headingley today.

It was cold, windy and LI were very poor. Fully deserved win by YC, dominant throughout.
