OK I'll raise the stakes. 3 Jersey players + 6 bottles of Liberation Ale for 2 Donny Players + the pie magician. At my age I can't carry more than 6 bottles!

Sorry CC The Pie Lady ain't for sale, swaps, DR or loaned.  Castle Park the home of Cow Pie, you love it,keep coming mate.

Whilst I am unsure whether this information is correct I was told earlier today there is no salary cap in the Championship.

If this is true what is to stop Scarries owner from paying Farrell and Co equivilant of 3 years salary next year go up and then pay them 10k a year to free up salary cap?

That is correct but if Sarries want to be promoted, they have to demonstrate that in the season prior they have been salary cap compliant to the figures that would apply in the Premiership.

No, that’s the standard requirement for any team wishing to be promoted. No problem:)

I didn't think it would work but you can't knock a bloke for trying. A proper pie shop in St Ouens would be a goldmine and could replace the RFU's money. You should allocate chaperones to guard the pie magician to fend off eligible farmers from Jersey trying to woo the lass away.
Dont kick it. Pick it up and GO FORWARD.

Great player that will be sorely missed by Nottingham's fans, best of luck Jack.

Good signing for the Reds, CC. Dan’s a talented player, but still has more potential.

Thanks HH. In a small squad he will be sure of plenty of game time and a warm welcome in St Ouen. I believe most of the squad will be coming back in early August when the sea is approaching its warmest but the airport has flights every day now so rugby must eventually be on the horizon. This latest signing takes the numbers up to 33 which is one less than the 34 Jersey usually start with so I'm ever hopeful that there may be another signing in the offing - a returning second row from last year's squad would be good.
