Are there any Newcastle fans on here to cover off their activities? We had a few Irish and Bristol fans in previous seasons.

Full respect for Cov in facilitating this move to the Prem. I hope they are well compensated financially but it surely reflects well on them and will be recognised by agents and players who will see them as willing to do the right thing for their players.

Cov’s official FB site says this...
“Coventry can confirm that they have reached a financial agreement with Exeter Chiefs which will see second row Stan South join the Premiership finalists with immediate effect.”

Yes, I expect he'll get better, but being signed as injury cover, how much pitch time will he see at Ex?
It'll be interesting to see what happens when their injured locks recover.
I expect he'll be on the road agin then.

I'm sure Hartpury would find a space for him if Pirates don't.

Makes the poor bloke sound like a parcel. I recall him as being of rangy build. No doubt he'll fill out and get stronger as time passes.

Why would he feel like a parcel. Game time at the Pirates would be better than an occasional few A team game or getting splinters from sitting on the bench.

I'm sure that players like Dave Ewers, Jack Nowell, Sam Hill, Sam Simmons, Tom Hendrikson, Tom Lawday, Max Boddilly would say they benefited from their spell in the Championship with Pirates.

True, it's just the way he's been passed from one club to another. I expect playing at Pirates  will be good for him.

A smashing lad with a good rugby brain - a good signing for Wasps.

I'd be surprised if Ealing dont have that many, or more with all the additional signings they've made!

I know of several new signings but last years `remainers` are on the website and only number 27. I am surprised that we have managed to keep Rayn Smid, Jordy Reid, and Kieran Murphy. There is still time for one or two of them to be snatched by a premiership club .

There are five new players who are all set to start at Brunel University but still be part of the `new` Academy at Ealing. Ealing have a new partnership with Brunel and will receive coaching from the senior squad coaching set up.

More than enough at Newcastle if they will lend a few out.
