Sorry, my mistake. He came to us from the Blues, and arrived at the Blues from Leicester Lions.

Again thanks for the info. Tom Williams is at Blackheath.
Drew Cheshire was at Luctonians 2009 - 2013, but I can't see anything on their site to say that he had returned. I do know that he was looking to get into the Estate Agency Business.
We at the Titans had hoped that the Club could have helped him to find a job locally so he could remain with us.

The Cornish Pirates announced 7 dual registered players from Exeter Chiefs at a meet the players event last night which included a training game against the Pirates Amateur side.

Three of last season’s familiar ‘Chiefs’ contingent are included, namely forwards Josh Caulfield(lock), Billy Keast(prop) and back Harry Strong.

The four new faces are lock Jake Clemson, centre Luke Flack, back-rower James McRae, and fly-half/centre Harvey Skinner.

Bedford announce 2 season long loans (not DRs as far as I’m aware) from Saracens. Hooker Tadgh McElroy and flanker Jack Nay. Expecting 3 more (2 from Saints, 1 from Tigers) before the season starts.

7? Really? I have nothing against DR players, in fact I quite welcome it, but signing 7 from the same PL club must be pushing it a little.
Are you sure that they haven't got their eye on your new stadium and are attempting to move in by stealth

More to the point, they appear to be attempting to set up the Parent club with associated juniors structure, wanted by certain parts of RFU HQ, with subsidiaries at CP and Plymouth.
A similar model might be recognised at Gloucester, with Hartpury and Cinderford.

We're pretty relaxed about having the boys from Exeter with us. It often means that local boys, who have been on the Truro College/Exeter Chiefs pathway, get to play for us. I would imagine that the long term plan will be to have our own academy so the Cornish boys can stay with us. At the moment it works pretty well for both clubs.

Am I right in saying other than LI and Ealing, Richmond are the only other club without DR's or Loan players . . relying on 2nd and 3rd XV players to make the step up?
Run with it

We have two season-long loan arrangements (Fraser Dingwall and James Voss) and no DRs (yet?) at Coventry.

Last season the various loans / DRs made a total of only 25 appearances across the season.
In the same period players from Coventry's development squad made 41 appearances.
(This in a NL1 league season of 600 theoretical total appearances)

Of the outside players apeparing for Coventry last season, Tom Kessell (6 apps) has now signed for Coventry, and Fraser Dingwal (also 6 apps) has extended hos loan arrangement.

I think there's a case for saying these chaps should probably be playing in the Championship in any case. It's just the overblown nature of the number of competitions and matches that the Premiership teams have to play requires them to have excessively bloated squad sizes.
