A genuinely great bloke who will be hugely missed and will always be welcome in this small part of St Ouen. I hope he can play even a small part on the field in this year's Siam Cup - it would be a wonderful way to say goodbye to so many old friends.
Dont kick it. Pick it up and GO FORWARD.

Ealing Trailfinders looked after this injured player way past the contracted agreement.....way past, more than half of last season. You should really get your facts right before casting such allegations. Ealing look after injured players better than most clubs at this level.

My lad had been with Ealing for 3 seasons now, they certainly looked aftrer him when he has been injured so far.

ooh I'd love to see that. Call me deluded or what but I genuinely think someone will beat Irish in the play-offs. They're not as good a team as Bristol were last season. Yorkies nearly beat them with half a team injured on Sunday. I think Ealing or Donny will beat Irish over two legs. We'll beat Irish at home on the 15th April and make them start getting twitchy.

I would have thought so. I'm quite surprised he stayed for three seasons but not surprised he's now leaving.

I thought he had signed for Worcester Warriors? Sure I read this somewhere recently. Bleddy Ealing probably gazzumped them! How many more I wonder?
This 'vanity project' is now becoming a bore.

Until another set of upstarts ruffle the feathers of the teams that belong in the division and lure out the green eyed monsters. It's not that long ago that Jersey were on the receiving end of backhanded comments as they lured players away from other Championship clubs.

All rather ironic considering the "boy's club" comments frequently made about the AP by Championship supporters.

I sometimes wonder at your agenda RoD, you clearly have a lot of rugby knowledge and background but sadly too many of your comments can be tinged with cynicism or is it envy for championship teams. Not sure why this is because you can make some really sensible comments without that input, just an observation.

When you are of a certain age with £240m in the bank what else do you do? Buy an island?

Must say I noticed that but everyone is entitled to their opinion I suppose. I either throw my toys out of the pram and quit the board or I accept there are views that may differ from mine. Even if I am right...lol. What I will never waver from is my unswerving support of Roth even if I am misguided in the belief that they are the best team that has ever existed on the planet and always have a good excuse when we lose, which, frankly is more frequent than it should be. I suppose there's nothing that a new coach and a new team can't put right though.

Didn't I hear him on Desert Island Discs the other week? He was saying which seven islands he'd take with him if ever he was stranded on a gramophone record.
