never thought i'd be backing a Clermont win at Saracens but it could easily happen at the moment.

DKF - seeing the score tonight, your prediction was spot on, other than thinking they could get a losing bonus point.

Worrying times for PRL teams in the Champions Cup this season, given the amount of money they get for little return.
Watch Out - The Scottish Phoenix Club is on the Up!!

you're right, I watched the game and Clermont were totally dominant. don't know why I do have a soft spot for Clermont though, they play great rugby and yet have never won the European cup. they're like Munster were before they won it in 2006. agree about the English teams though, every one of them LOST this weekend!. to be fair I wouldn't make too much out of Bath and Exeter's defeats, Bath were unlucky at Toulon and will beat them at the Rec. in Exeter's case a full strength Leinster are always a handful. Northampton and Quins's defeats were pretty poor I thought. you could argue Quins v Ulster shouldn't have gone ahead because of the snow but Saints being 8-43 down at home to the Ospreys before a late flurry is pretty pathetic. have to say Leicester were badly outgunned at Thomond Park as well. the real eye-opener for me was La Rochelle v Wasps, I know La Rochelle are good but thought Wasps would beat them. as mentioned above Saracens were very badly beaten and I can see them not qualifying from this group. they need players back and fast.
