Certainly this is a distinct possibility - as the other clubs pick up injuries the season will start to tell. This could be the most difficult season in many years to predict a winner. I guess the ultimate winner will suffer at least 6 or more defeats? Who can play on the 4G pitches? Could Rosslyn Park actually emerge? How about Blackheath? I'm sure DMP will have a say as will Plymouth. The next few weeks will be interesting. Are Ampthill a one trick pony? Will Cinderford and Chinnor implode? Any views????

If you're not on the pitch you can't win the game

Yes they can as can about 7 other teams, Cinderford are the real deal and with their excellent recruits from Hartpury will continue to do well. RP have recruited incredibly well and should challenge. DMP have too small a squad and are ravaged by injuries . .  and dont seem to have any DR's. I think it is probably easier to say who might go down . . where I think LS and Esher will continue to struggle.

2 Sale teams in the same league would be an interesting model

Sale FC do promote a one club message.................perhaps the Sale FC/Sale Sharks combo is the embodiment of that.

If Chinnor can steer clear of injuries, I would expect them to stay up the top, and wouldn't be surprised to see Old Elthamians up there too.

A friend of mine teaches Year 1 at Primary School. Her first lesson is to teach her munchkins the difference between can and may. All of her pupils "can go to the toilet" but if they want to go they have to ask "may I go to the toilet".

At this stage a lot of teams CAN win the League, even Esher, but who MAY win it is proving diffiocult to determine. I'm going to wait until after Round 15!

Hello Rolling Maul, new to this but a well seasoned reader on here. Safe to say anyone can win this league with 5/6 teams in the mix. With the final Premiership Shield round this weekend and a break until December it will be interesting to see how the franchise teams get on during this time. Sale FC, Chinnor Trailfinders, Loughborough Tigers and DMP Falcons will be ones to watch I'm sure...

I think the answer to the question is definitely NO. But FC have always taken a year or so to have a look & eventually succeed. But hey, they're in Nat1....it's no bad place.

I follow a bunch of Surrey clubs and like to keep an eye on affairs in and around these leafy parts. Once again some interesting results which confirms my thoughts of National 1 being wide open! Some real quality in this league and a joy to watch!

I've just watched a recording of the Leicester v sale game and it was worse than the last sale game I watched when I was trapped in the car park for an hour afterwards.
It's a good job steve diamond is a major shareholder or he'd sack himself, are sale fc making the right decision pairing up with sale when they're on the slide?

I doubt whether it was Sale FC's decision
