I suspect Ire and Scot will be very happy - Eng has a tough and physical draw.

The Oceania up game between Cook Islands and Tahiti was played in wet and blustery conditions that looked more like February in Fylde than Pacific paradise,

A stream of the match is avaiable here
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oGnLGKoQzwc&feature=youtu.be

The war dances are at about an hour in and I am afraid the quality of those matches that of the rugby - which looks about National League standard, though it is very hard to tell given the conditions.

Tahiti won the low scoring game and go on to play the winners of the Asian cup for a place in the repechage.
However they are ranked well below the Asian teams so have little hope of going further.

And the IRB deem Oceania good enough to get up to 4 World Cup qualifying spots? Still Tahiti won't get past Hong Kong.

Because Fiji, Tonga and Samoa are all easily strong enough to qualify - so why not offer one other possible route.

Samoa still have to get past Europe 2  to avoid the repechage.
If Tahiti beat will HK it will be a mighty upset and they will deserve a repechage place.

I think Namibia, Uruguay and Romania  will take the remaining places, with Samoa beating Spain who will then win the repechage against Canada, HK and Kenya - with Russia missing out.

But there is a lot of rugby to play to get there.

Not sure how you've got there.  My predictions:

Africa: Namibia qualify as Africa 1, Kenya advance to repechage
Americas: USA already qualified as Americas 1, Canada qualify as Americas 2, Uruguay advance to repechage
Asia: Hong Kong advance to play Tahiti
Europe: Romania qualify as Europe 1, Russia* advance to play Samoa
Oceania: Fiji already qualified as Oceania 1, Tonga already qualified as Oceania 2, Samoa advance to play Russia*, Tahiti advance to play Hong Kong

Samoa beat Russia* to qualify, Russia* advance to repechage
Hong Kong beat Tahiti to qualify for repechage

Repechage: Hong Kong, Kenya, Russia*, Uruguay.  Uruguay qualify

*hardest to call - I had Germany as my favourites until they lost to Spain, and I think that's let Russia back in though I can't write off Spain.

Yes, Portugal play Czech Republic* in November, the winner of which plays Germany/Russia/Spain.  I think the team from the higher division will have what it takes though.

*or are they Czechia now?
